Gluckman-Mayner, Richard Gluckman Time-Off (1999)

Why architects to design time? Richard Gluckman’s three-dimensional approach to his “Time-Off” design for his second Projects clock is a good example of the relationship to space and depth. This is done through his use of a different texturing of the lens and different coloring of numbers. This allows the passing of time to “segway” from work to play or from “conventional” day hours to rest hours.

…So, come on take some Time-Off!

Time-Off has a frosted lens and red numerals from “9″ to “5″. The case and dial are finished in matching gray. This aluminum clock is 13 1/2″ in diameter. It operates on one AA battery (not included).

Time Off (Model # 9002 RG) – SOLD OUT!
