Michael Graves Collection | Projects Watches

Michael Graves received his architectural training at the University of Cincinnati and at Harvard University. Among his many completed projects are the Portland Building, the Humana Building, the Clos Pegase Winery in the Napa Valley, and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels. Graves is the winner of fifteen Progressive Architecture Design Awards, nine American Institute of Architects National Honor Awards, and thirty-eight New Jersey Society of Architects, AIA Awards.

Michael Graves was recently awarded the national medal of the arts.

Named for Michael Graves love of Italy and his use of the iconic font, Michelangelo uses Graves’ signature form-ellipsoidal hands and modern classic colors. Syzygy (pronounced /ˈsɪ.zɨ.dʒi/)

Syzygy named for the scientific term for astrological alignment, celebrates the unity of color, form and function in a sophisticated mono-chromatic presentation. Syzygy’s Indigo blue color is made of plated stainless steel that will not wear off. Syzygy features ellipsoidal hands (another Graves Signature form), a bright orange sweeping second hand, and easy to see white hour index marks. The entire composition is capped off by an oversized spherical knob.
