Denis Guidone, as student of architecture, design and visual communication studied urban planning and architecture in Milan, Italy and Oporto, Portugal.

His project process was born under the concept of subtraction, an ideology that follows the unification of opposites through a constant approach on the edge of architecture and visual communication, and at the same time mediated by an expressive intensity that addresses work on the basis of subtraction.

Fascinated by the passing of time, Guidone carries out this intense didactic work for several universities and design schools, in Italy and abroad. His many awards and honorable mentions include: Ida international design award in Los Angeles, IDOT Best Italian Design Product, and The Bruno Munari international award.

“I am committed to the creation of a contemporary and authentically American architecture that is characteristic of its own time and place. This philosophy leads me to assemble the standard ingredients essential to architectural production; to interact, to question, to challenge, to collaborate in order to reach a consensus and then to create a building that represents the collective energies of the client and society.”

The late Tibor Kalman, founder of M&Co. began his legendary relationship with time in 1983. In the spirit of the motto imprinted on the backside of the watches – “Waste Not a Moment”-reflect witty graphics merging with serious engineering in this hand-crafted timepiece.

Each watch is made of black electroplated aluminum ensuring a finish that stays looking new and comes with a genuine topstitched black leather band lined with a taupe glove leather finish and a matching black buckle.

Tibor Kalman founded the legendary, multidisciplinary design firm M&Co in 1979. In collaboration with his wife Maira, the conceptually progressive firm initially created graphics, magazines and film titles, and books. Following the release of a record album cover for the rock band Talking Heads, M&Co gained major attention for “pushing the envelope” on conventions of design and typography, and went on to become a major influence on emerging designers.

“Ergonomic shape and angle for ease of telling time.” – Denis Guidone

Towards is as unique in construction as it is in style. The 40mm case is tilted toward the wearer at an angle making Towards a true ergonomic timepiece with both large numbers and an easy to view date box. To emphasize the re-orientation, the number twelve is printed on the glass, the crown placed below it on the case, and the date calendar placed at the 4 o’clock position.

This unique and contemporary timepiece from Italian designer, Denis Guidone has a seamless band that connects to the body of the watch with no visible lugs or connections. Characterized by this slanted case is a 20 degree shift in the position of the number twelve. The face is simple and elegant. Even during the flurry of fingering a keyboard, time is visible at a glance making the need to twist the wrist a thing of the past!

Towards’ unique features include the number “12″ painted on the underside of the lens, the indices painted and attached on the dial and the crown (that which adjusts the time) off center making Towards true “architecture that you can wear”.

Towards measures 40mm in diameter (1.57″) and 10.0mm (0.39″) high at the lowest point of the case (remember the case is angled like a ramp!) and 14.79mm (0.58″) high at the highest point. The IP plated stainless steel case is complemented by a 20mm leather band with black buckle.

Color variations include yellow numbers and indices on a black dial, white numbers and indices on black dial, or black numbers and indices printed on a white dial.

Live in the present. That’s what we strive to do.

This unique timepiece beautifully reminds you that “there’s no time like the present.”

You only see the present time: what’s past is past. The future doesn’t exist yet. The time is now.

At once coolly minimal and warmly conceptual, Past Present, Future is a meditation on time.

Past, Present, Future is a 33mm in diameter (1 1/3″) and 8.0mm high (0.31″) unisex watch . The case is solid stainless steel and is water-resistant to 100ft. It is is available with either a matching stitched leather band or stainless steel band.

Past, Present Future is designed by Daniel Will-Harris, a pioneer in computer graphics and the web.
