Richard Gluckman, Michael Graves, Kisho Kurokawa and Laurinda Spear each contributed to erecting Building Timepieces II, a collection of alarm clocks which draws its inspiration from an earlier collection of watches designed by them and others and based upon museums.

Richard Gluckman's work displays sensitivity to existing building structures and the needs of modern architecture making him a perfect candidate to design the three dimensional alarm clock with its use of space, light and movement.
